We follow Mr. Tench as he heads
out to do his errands for the day. As he heads down the path, he seems to be
distracted for he keeps pondering about what he came to the port for. So what did this dentist come to town for? He
went for an ether cylinder. Nothing seems to be unusual about his trip today…
oh wait… can it be? Yes, yes, Mr. Tench is talking to someone. Who? I have no
idea. He is not from around here. What is his business with Mr. Tench? Come reader,
let us check this out! Darn, just missed their conversation down here by the
docks. Maybe I shall be able to sneak behind them. They seem to be headed back
towards Mr. Tench’s house.
Back at
Mr. Tench’s house, they seem to be drinking some sort of… brandy? Here? Is Mr.
Tench sick? Brandy is to be used for medicinal purposes only. Their conversation reveals nothing new about
the stranger, this Mr. Unknown. But do not be despaired reader for I have been
given insight into Mr. Tench’s mysterious and unknown family. He had two sons,
one of which seems to have died. Mr. Tench does not keep in contact with his
child and wife (who quite possibly has remarried by now) who live in a
Christian country.
This stranger seems to be quite set upon not missing the General Obregon when it leaves port later today. This is one intriguing man who seem unable to decide whether he is a doctor or not; all depending upon some unknown reason. This, my friend, is becoming one person who MUST be followed... what other secrets and information may be revealed by future events? Oh dear, unfortunately, this mystery man has seemed to have left without me noticing. Hmmm, what did Mr. Tench just find? A book left by our dear unknown friend. La Eterna Martir, i shall look into what exactly is included inside that binding... Until then, good bye reader and never stop exploring.
Great post Corri! I like how you presented the plot in a very fun way! However, one thing I noticed: you seem to ask a lot of questions which never get answered. It's also quite a lot of summary. But I actually think that its really great, and like I said, I love the presentation!! Keep it up! :)
ReplyDeleteCorri, Nice use of details. You sound like a reporter making notes to herself - asking questions that will be answered along the way.
